About
Stonechat Bothy is set in 9.4 acres of young woodland in the crofting township of Drumfearn. There are no houses within 100 metres of the Bothy and no street lights, this is as peaceful and secluded as you can find on Skye! The Bothy was custom built in 2005 to the highest specifications and standards. The intelligent underfloor heating system and excellent insulation, along with large windows that gather lots of passive solar energy, means that the bothy is cosy whatever the weather or season. The woodburning stove is rarely needed, but what a lovely feature on a chilly night or damp day. A peaceful haven, but with all the mod-cons you would hope to find in a luxurious and spacious retreat.
